What are Nourish Workshops?
Nourish workshops are a series of immersive cooking and gardening experiences designed to connect people, encourage healthy choices and educate the broader community around food literacy.
Authors, renowned chefs, food makers, growers and gardening specialists host the evening and weekend workshops. They share their knowledge, skills and passion in hands-on workshops that celebrate seasonal produce, regenerative farming and the joy of cooking.
Each workshop is approximately 90 minutes to two hours with occasional ones running for three hours, which includes a practical element, and depending on time followed with a sit-down meal. Extended workshops may also include a farm tour, produce harvest or visit to the Basin. If out of time, participants are invited to take their dish or dishes home to enjoy. Most chefs share one or two recipes, some have been known to guide attendees through even a third.
Participants work with nutrient dense food and learn tips on how locally or home grown, seasonal produce can enhance their cooking and their health.
